Firmware Upgrade for RTC-P3 Electronic Electronic People Counter:
This option is for customers who already own an RTC-P3 Electronic People Counter. A system’s firmware is the program that is written onto the microprocessor. We can reprogram the microprocessor to provide you with the latest version of the system.
Overview:
The current version is 5.1.6. The change from 5.1.5 to 5.1.6 is the addition of more occupancy functionality. These enhancements were primarily made in response to the current Pandemic. You can add this item to the cart and order it. Next, ship back your RTC-P3 and we will reprogram it. We will then ship it back to you via the method that you select at checkout.
How new does your RTC-P3 Electronic People Counter have to be in order to be able to be programmed?
We released this people counter in 2001. If your system was purchased before approximately 2005, then it may have an old verison of the system circuit board inside. In that case, you would have to upgrade the system circuit board for $179. However, the upgraded program will be included in that price. If you purchased your system as far back as 2005 or so, please give us a call and we can verify if you have a system circuit board that needs to be replaced.
